About
Meet Courtney
Courtney Hart is a Dallas-based dance artist and musician who earned her BFA in Dance with a minor in Business Management from Point Park University. Upon graduating, she performed professionally with Nova Linea Contemporary Dance and SoulEscape The Company, while teaching and exploring voice and movement integration. In 2023, she released her debut EP, The Host, and later collaborated on a music video in New York City, accompanying classes and events nationwide. She has since taught, choreographed, and provided live musical accompaniment for dance studios, conventions, and professional training programs across the country. Courtney is now based in Dallas, TX, where she continues to teach at Ambition Dance Productions, perform locally as a musician, and develop Throughline—an interdisciplinary project connecting music and movement through live collaboration.
Mission
My mission as a musician, dancer, and creator is to cultivate a space where artists feel free to explore, grow, and express themselves without the pressure to fit a mold.
Through music and movement, I aim to challenge artistic stereotypes and expand the way we experience dance—not just as a performance, but as a form of connection, expression, and storytelling. By sharing my work across different settings, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own artistry and discover their unique creative voice.
My hope is that every dancer feels supported, seen, and empowered to follow their own creative path. You can be more than just one thing.
